House cleaning in Mount Eden
Making life easier, one clean at a time
Mount Eden households run on a tight schedule. School zones bring a certain kind of family week, with drop offs, pick ups, homework, music and sport stacked on top of two working parents. The homes here are villas and bungalows around the maunga and the village, full of character and full of the sort of detail that takes hours to keep properly. Something has to give, and for most households it is the cleaning. Gentle Earth provides weekly and fortnightly house cleaning in Mount Eden so it does not have to be.
Character homes and full calendars
The classic Mount Eden home has timber floors, deep skirtings, picture rails, sash windows and panelled doors, often with a modern kitchen and living extension out the back. That combination looks fantastic and creates a lot of work. Original detail collects dust, hard floors show every mark, and open plan living areas are on permanent display.
Our cleaners work in efficient, methodical patterns through a standardised residential checklist. Bathrooms include the shower and bath scrubbed, the toilet cleaned including base and behind, tapware, mirrors, vanity tops, window sills, cabinet fronts spot cleaned, towel rails and toilet roll holders wiped, floors vacuumed and mopped and rubbish emptied. Kitchens cover benchtops, backsplash, sink and tapware, cupboard and drawer fronts, the exterior of the fridge, stove, dishwasher and benchtop appliances, the inside of the microwave, and the table cleaned and tidied. Bedrooms, hallways and living areas are dusted, wiped, vacuumed and mopped, with beds made and changed if fresh linen is left out.
The tasks your week never allows for
Our reputation is built on attentiveness to the details, because those are exactly the jobs a busy family cannot get to. Tops of door frames, light switches and door handles, cabinet fronts with visible marks removed, skirting boards and trims, window sills, and light fittings and ceiling fans where they can be reached safely.
Your first visit brings the home up to our maintenance standard, and the weekly or fortnightly cleans that follow keep it there instead of letting the backlog rebuild. If you would rather we focused on particular rooms, we can shape it that way. Add-on tasks including blinds dusted, the inside of the oven or fridge cleaned, kitchen cupboards cleaned inside and out, and wardrobes or linen cupboards lightly organised can be requested ahead of a visit.
Someone your family is comfortable with
Every Gentle Earth cleaner is vetted, fully insured and comprehensively trained, and we only choose team members who align with our core values of integrity, family first, and a grateful and positive attitude. We understand how personal it is to have someone in your home when there are children and school bags and family life all through it. We aim to send the same cleaner to your Mount Eden home each visit, and our detailed home notes mean a different cleaner still delivers the same clean.
Before leaving, our team checks that the stove and oven are off, taps are off, toilets are not running, doors are locked as required, windows are as found and the temperature is set as you had it.
